TRACEY KAHLE, GIA GG, ISA CAPP
Tracey Kahle earned the prestigious Graduate Gemologist title at the Gemological Institute of America in 1988, followed by an apprenticeship with renowned Harold and Tom Tivol. During her career, she worked closely with an award-winning jewelry designer, where she became very knowledgeable about buying and manufacturing processes. She also served as Appraiser and Senior Gemologist in one of the country’s most recognized jewelry brand retailers.
Continuing education has always been important to Tracey. She has studied Appraisal Methodology and Appraisal Report Writing with the American Gem Society and International Society of Appraisers (ISA). Tracey holds the highest designation, Certified Appraiser of Personal Property (ISA), making her the most credentialed jewelry appraiser in the Kansas City metro area.
Tracey returned to Tivol in 2006 where she managed the appraisal department for eight years. She was consulted daily for her expertise in professional appraisal reports and purchasing and valuing diamonds and gemstones. She conducted Jewelry Insurance Replacement continuing education classes at Johnson County Community College, where she shared critical information with insurance agents and adjustors to help them better serve their valuable clients.
In 2014, Tracey launched Kahle Appraisals LLC, with an emphasis on personal, confidential and by-appointment services. Tracey is highly respected and regarded as one of the top jewelry appraisers in the nation. Her diverse clients include families and individuals, trust companies, attorneys, and auction houses.
